Kalahari Resorts & Conventions are some of the most iconic waterparks across the United States. We had two opportunities to visit this year once for a day trip, and once for a longer stay. I visited a few times as a child with my own family, and it’s now so fun to experience it through my daughter’s eyes and explore all the fun things to do as an adult. This makes a great trip for not only families but also a couple’s getaway or girls’ weekend! No matter your group- there’s something to do. Many different areas to play, and a dedicated area for toddlers under 36 inches, complete with slides, swings, a splash pad area, and lazy river with little tubes that’s only a foot deep.

The Tom Foolerys at Wisconsin Dells is over 100,000 square feet with a ropes course, climbing wall, zip line, bowling, laser tag, mini golf, go-karting, and 250 arcade games.

Our favorite was the new Cinco Niños we got a fajitas which were amazing and don’t forget the chips and salsa and a margarita to go with it.
There’s no need to leave the resort when you stay at Kalahari they have everything from breakfast and a coffee shop, to a fine dining steak house, or order pizza in the waterpark or to your room! Once you arrive at Kalahari everything you need it under one roof.
5. Enjoy Live Music at Redd's Piano Room:
Experience the vibrant nightlife at Redd's Piano Room, where live music sets the stage for a lively and entertaining evening. Sip on your favorite drink, enjoy the tunes, and soak in the energetic atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a memorable night out with friends and family.
Guests under 21 are allowed until 10 p.m. and we saw many families so feel free to all go together or wait until later in the evening for a date night! For a fun experience drink, try the cotton candy martini.

From double queen rooms in the resort, rooms that overlook the outdoor waterpark, to Lake Dalton lakeside villas that sleep the whole family (from 6-20!) there’s options for any group size. Waterpark passes are included in all room bookings.
Pro-Tip: You can pre-register the morning of your stay and start enjoying the waterpark when they open at 10, and on your day of check-out you can utilize the waterpark until close. Extend your stay past your check-in and check-out!
