Clark Farm Silos, Kalispell Montana

When I say silo, is the first thing that comes to your mind, modern, elegant and the ultimate vacation destination? No? Well, after today you may think differently about that.

Clark Farm Silos are five unassuming grain bins located just outside of Kalispell, Montana and 4o minutes from the entrance of Glacier National Park. These bins sit on land that has been owned by three generations, and you truly can feel the family, love and care that goes into this property during your stay.

Clark Farm Silos are truly a unique bucket list getaway, that you not only need to stay at on your next trip to Glacier, but I would go back in a heart-beat just to enjoy a few days with my husband as a little couples getaway.

The grain bins have a small kitchenette with two bar stools, couch, TV, and bathroom on the main floor and a loft with a king bed, huge picture window and a little reading space upstairs. The bins truly have everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Eli and his family truly know how to create an experience, from the remote controlled blinds, custom coffee, bear spray and umbrella if you’re heading into the park, and a variety of Public Goods products down to sunscreen and bug spray.

In the bin there is a little kitchenette, with a mini-fridge that fit all our food for our stay, hot plate, glasses, silverware, custom coffee and spices and oils. This grain bin may be compact but you are still able to cook all your meals here, which is such a great bonus!

You know I always mention our sleeping situation since we bring Adayla on almost all our adventures and this is no different. In the bins, we set up her crib on the main floor in the living space. There are blinds on both the doors and windows, so we were able to have a bonfire outside and read upstairs in the loft without waking her, which was really nice. The only downside was we had to be very quite when in the bathroom, but Adayla slept through it all so it wasn’t really a problem, just something to note if you’re traveling with your little one.

Our favorite part of the whole stay was sitting out around the bonfire, watching the sun go down (and Montana sunsets do not disappoint), and watching the stars and moon shine among the glowing silos. It was absolutely magical!

Now that you see the pictures and heard about this amazing space I ask you, would you stay in a silo?
