Over the last year I’ve been on a mission to find the best, most unique and just any coffee shop that offers this fun twist on flights! Whether you find yourself in the Twin Cities or exploring outside the urban sprawl, here's a guide to the best coffee flights Minnesota has to offer:

KKC Cream Cafe - Found in Minneapolis' Mill District, KKC Cream Cafe is known for its creative coffee flights that blend unique flavors. Their current flight is the Fresh Prince Flight for $18, which is a 4oz sampler of each of their summer signature drinks.

Rick's Coffee Bar - A local favorite in Minneapolis, Rick's Coffee Bar provides a warm atmosphere and a variety of coffee flights to satisfy any coffee lover. The coffee flight is three 8oz servings of a seasonally rotating beverage. Closed on Sundays.

Last Drop at Graze North Loop - Nestled in North Loop, Last Drop within Graze offers curated coffee flights alongside delicious bites. Offering coffee in the morning and a wine bar by night. Their summer coffee flight is $17 and consists of four flavors: mint white mocha, pistachio cold brew, cardamom london fog, and matcha lemonade. They also have a mimosa flight!

Wild Grind - Located within Wild Mind Ales, this coffee shop is open daily until three. Offering a mix of classic, speciality, teas and of course seasonal flights. From now until August their featured summer flight is Blueberry Clouds, Grapefruit Spritz and Wild Sunrise for $14 (iced only.)

Third Space- Inspired by the role of providing a space away from work and home, that connects the community. They offer a coffee sampler which is 4, 5oz pours of the barista’s choice. Closed Mondays.

Silver Fern- Located along the scenic Mississippi River in the Northeast neighborhood of Minneapolis. With seasonal coffee flights, pastries a wine bar and more. Open daily with happy hour Wednesday-Friday from 4-6.

True Stone Coffee Roasters - True Stone in St. Paul offers meticulously sourced beans and a rotating selection of coffee flights that highlight different origins and flavor profiles. True Stone Coffee offers a hot flight with a featured drink, salted caramel latte, dark chocolate mocha, and cortado, and cold flight with a featured drink, Stone Hammer (cold brew, espresso, vanilla, and cream), nitro cold brew, and spiced brown sugar latte.

Froth & Cork - Froth & Cork offers delightful coffee flights that complement their cozy atmosphere. Located two blocks off of main street historic Hastings in a 1876 Historical Home, each month they rotate a new flight to try! Good news, they’re now open Mondays!

Ember Coffee Co. - Located in Big Lake, Ember Coffee Co. offers unique coffee flights perfect for a day of exploration. Voted Minnesota’s Best Coffee and Coffeehouse in 2023 it’s worth the trip out of the cities to check it out.

Base Camp Minnetonka - Base Camp is known for its adventurous spirit and offers coffee flights that explore various brewing methods and flavors. Attached to Unmapped brewing they offer their original coffee flight for $20 - cardamom latte, mocha, maple latte, salted caramel latte. This is also a great spot for families, having story time the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. + they’re dog friendly!

Shakopee Brewhall - Besides craft beer, Shakopee Brewhall serves unique coffee flights for those seeking something different. Located on First Avenue, in the heart of Shakopee’s historic downtown. Open daily with their coffee shop open during all business hours this is a great alternative for those who don’t want to participate in a brew but still want a fun drink. They make a Cold Brew Coffee Flight Blueberry Muffin Latte, S’mores Latte, Mini Donut Latte, Lavender White Latte.

New Moon - New Moon in Baudette offers serene surroundings and delightful coffee flights perfect for enjoying scenic views. This is a women owned and family operated coffeehouse (which we love!!). Offering coffee flights or a lotus creation flight!

Smokin' Java - Smokin' Java in Jackson provides a warm welcome and delicious coffee flights that highlight their commitment to quality. Their signature latte flight are served hot or iced and I believe they are the only coffee shop that rotates their flavors weekly. Offered at $16. Closed Sundays.

Getaway Motor Cafe - Getaway Motor Cafe in Carver offers a retreat-like atmosphere and coffee flights perfect for escaping the daily routine. This is one of the states newest flight offering they have both cocktail flights on nights their bar is open, and just started offering coffee. Last I heard they are only available on weekdays, but will update as I know more!

Harry Potter Flight Ettlin’s Cafe
Ettlin’s Cafe- Located in New Prague, Minnesota. This cafe serves your normal selection of breakfast and lunch fare but also has a large selection of flights and speciality coffee drinks on the menu. The flight is $15 and has a mix of coffee, spritz, and a mocktail. The flight is delivered with a sorting house at to your table to help you find your house!

Annabelle House- Monthly rotating flavors. I’ve had the Schmitt’s Creek flight and a Valentine’s Day flight. It’s a small but great space. Their flight of the month is called social seaon with an English Toffee Mocha, Blackberry Half n’ Half, Honey Jasmine Latte, and White Chocolate Matcha inspired by Bridgerton.
