The home features two inviting bedrooms and one well-appointed bathroom, all designed to make you feel both comfortable and connected to the stunning natural surroundings. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area is the heart of the home, with surrounding doors and windows that invite the outdoors in.

My favorite part of this whole stay was waking up to the sunrise, while the shadows from the leaves danced on the walls and the bed. I’m a sunrise person so this was right up my alley + the have a delux coffee set up which just really was the icing on the cake.

The beauty of Beauty Lake Retreat extends beyond the walls of the cabin. The large, crushed rock patio features a fire pit and seating area, perfect for relaxing in the evening with a cocktail or warming up by the fire as you listen to the loons call. After we put out little to bed, we had a little date night outside playing cards and watching the sky turn colors with the sunset!

A short 200-foot walk takes you to the lakefront, where you’ll find a dock (available from May to October) perfect for diving into the waters or simply sitting and soaking in the ambiance. I chose to get up early on our final day and watch the sunrise. I was greeted with colors, loons and even an eagle sighting. With a canoe provided for guest use, you can explore the 55-acre natural environment lake, known for its clear waters and incredible 26-foot visibility.

A few of my favorite things about Beauty Lake Retreat:
